Help Us Fix a Shelter That 250 Rescued Dogs Call Home

When it rains, water runs through our shelter.

Not around it. Through it.

The dogs don’t just get wet. They stand in it, sleep in it, and wait for it to drain… sometimes it doesn’t.

Six years ago, we made one decision: not to look away.

From the dogs left on the road to die after being hit and run over.

From those tied up and forgotten.

From the ones kept in cages or on chains so short they could barely move.

From the ones left alone for days—hungry, thirsty, and unseen.

We just kept saying yes.

Today, Stray Love PH Foundation cares for over 250 rescued dogs.

Most of them came to us in the worst condition. Now they are treated, fed, and safe—because someone chose to stop and help.

We’ve carried this quietly for years, using our own savings and working multiple jobs just to keep everything going.

But the shelter we built for them is struggling.

It sits on a slope, and when heavy rains come, water rushes straight through it. The ground stays wet, drainage clogs with mud, and waste has nowhere to go.

The place meant to protect them is becoming something they have to endure.

With the rainy season approaching, we urgently need help to:

• Build cement walls to help stop floodwaters from entering the shelter

• Repair and improve drainage systems

• Construct additional septic tanks for 250 dogs and staff

• Reinforce weakened fences and damaged structures

• Improve nursery and isolation areas for vulnerable rescues

These are not upgrades for comfort.

They are repairs needed to keep the shelter safe, sanitary, and functional—for both the dogs and the people caring for them.

We don't have to do this.

But we choose to—because these rescues have no one else to turn to.

Now, we’re asking for help.

To fix the shelter.

To make it dry.

To make it safe.

To keep going.

Even a small amount matters.

Because when it comes from many people, it becomes the reason we can continue saving lives.

We’ve carried this for as long as we could.
