Help 81-Year-Old Aunt Pritchie Fight for Her Life
At 81 years old, Aunt Pritchie is still fighting, and our family is desperately trying to give her the chance to keep fighting.
Aunt Pritchie is currently hospitalized in the Philippines after suffering from severe abdominal pain. She was diagnosed with Cholestasis and gallstones, but because of her age and very weak physical condition, her doctors determined that she is too fragile to safely undergo surgery to remove the gallstones.
Her condition has continued to worsen, and her kidney function has become a serious concern. Her doctors have recommended dialysis, along with continued hospitalization, medications, laboratory monitoring, and other medical treatment.
Every day she remains in the hospital, the expenses continue to grow.
We are hoping to raise Php 2,000,000 to help cover Aunt Pritchie's growing medical expenses and give her access to the treatment she urgently needs.
The funds will help with:
- Her accumulated and ongoing hospital bills
- Dialysis treatments
- Medications
- Laboratory tests and monitoring
- Medical supplies and other necessary care
Php 2,000,000 may seem like a large amount, but to our family, it represents something much more important: time.
Time for Aunt Pritchie to receive treatment.
Time for her body to respond.
Time for her family to be by her side.
And most importantly, time for her to keep fighting.
We Are Running Out of Options
Aunt Pritchie has no husband and no children of her own. Her closest family members are her elderly brothers and sisters, who are doing everything they can to care for her.
They don't want to give up on their sister while she is still fighting.
But the financial burden has become overwhelming. The hospital expenses, dialysis, medications, and other medical needs are far beyond what our family can continue to shoulder alone.
We are also unable to transfer Aunt Pritchie to another hospital unless we are able to settle her outstanding hospital bill. This has made our situation even more difficult, as we need to continue paying the current hospital expenses while also trying to determine the best and most affordable way to continue her treatment.
We have reached the point where we have to ask for help outside our family.
Please Help Us Give Her a Chance
Asking strangers for financial help is not something our family ever imagined we would have to do.
But when someone you love is lying in a hospital bed, you put your pride aside and ask for help.
We are not asking for a miracle. We are asking for the opportunity to continue her treatment.
If you can donate whatever you are able to give can help when combined with the kindness of others.
And if you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser. Your share could reach someone who can help us get closer to our goal.
Php 2,000,000 is our goal, but every dollar brings us closer.
We want Aunt Pritchie to know that her family has not given up on her.
At 81 years old, she deserves the chance to receive the care she needs and continue fighting for her life.
Please help us stand beside Aunt Pritchie. Help us pay for her treatment. Help us give her more time.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading her story, sharing her fundraiser, donating if you can, and keeping Aunt Pritchie in your prayers.
Every prayer, every share, and every pesos means more to our family than we can ever express.
