Hi everyone, I am reaching out because I’ve hit a massive financial curveball and could really use a helping hand. Last June 18, the water pump on my trusty Nissan Sentra B13, completely failed and leaked its coolant. After getting it looked at, the news got worse: the engine suffered a blown cylinder head gasket. Oil and coolant are mixing, and it needs a critical top overhaul to survive.

For those who know this car, it has been an absolute champ. It just hit approx almost 290,000 kilometers! It has taken me everywhere I’ve needed to go for years. Because the mechanic has to completely tear down the top of the engine to fix the head gasket, they also have to remove the timing chain. Doing the water pump, head gasket, and timing chain all at once is the only way to save the engine from being permanently ruined.

Things have been incredibly tight lately with my budget, and a major emergency repair like this is something I simply cannot afford on my own right now. If I only fix the water pump and ignore the head gasket, the engine will overheat and seize up within days, destroying the car completely.
