### How they reached this situation

My sister's family became caught up in a networking-related scam that had serious financial and personal consequences. In an attempt to address the situation and protect their relationships and reputation with the people affected, they took out loans to make payments.

What began as an effort to resolve a difficult situation gradually became a cycle of debt.

As their financial obligations grew, they found themselves borrowing more money to repay existing loans, often facing additional interest and payments. The burden has become increasingly difficult to manage.

### The reality they face today

Despite cutting back on household spending and reducing their needs as much as possible, the family is still struggling financially.

Their monthly expenses exceed their available income by approximately ₱15,000. They are trying to meet their obligations while ensuring that essential needs are not neglected.
