Help fund Baby Azie's heart surgery ❤️

We are humbly asking for help for our baby, Azie Mahilum, who was born with congenital heart disease and now needs to undergo open-heart surgery.

Azie has been recommended for treatment at De Los Santos Medical Center in Quezon City, Manila. We are still waiting for his surgery date, as we need to travel to Manila for his evaluation, consultations, and further arrangements with the hospital.

Since we are from Cebu, we will need to stay in Manila for around a month or possibly longer, depending on Azie’s treatment and recovery. While we are preparing for his surgery, we are also trying our best to cover the expenses that come with being away from home.

Our expected expenses include:

₱250,000 - out of pocket costs of the surgery.

* Accommodation in Manila — approximately ₱25,000 for 30 days

* Round-trip airfare for 2 adults and our baby — approximately ₱15,000–₱18,000

* Food and daily expenses

* Transportation to and from the hospital

* Medicines, baby needs, and other necessities

* Other unexpected expenses that may come along the way

We are hoping to raise ₱300,000 to help us with these expenses while Azie receives the care he needs in Manila.

We are also reaching out to government offices and other organizations to ask for assistance with his medical and hospital expenses. Any help we receive from them will go directly toward Azie’s treatment.

As parents, this is not an easy thing for us to ask. We simply want to be able to stay by our baby’s side and make sure we have what we need while he goes through this difficult journey.
