My brother was involved in a tragic road accident after he was hit by a jeep. The impact caused a severe injury to the thoracic region of his spine. What has made this even more heartbreaking is that the driver who hit him did not take responsibility for the accident and left us to shoulder the overwhelming medical expenses on our own.

Because of the seriousness of the injury, my brother had to undergo Minimally Invasive Spine (MIS) Fixation Surgery to stabilise his spine and prevent further damage. The spinal implants used during the operation alone costs P495,000, and we are still struggling to pay this amount.

On top of the implant cost, we continue to face expenses for his hospitalisation, doctor's professional fees, medications, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care. The financial burden has become more than our family can manage, but we are doing everything we can to ensure that he receives the treatment and rehabilitation he needs.
