I never imagined I would find myself writing a letter like this, but we have reached a point where we desperately need a miracle.

For the past month, my life has been confined to a hospital room. I underwent a Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), but because we could not come up with the massive 300,000-peso cash-out requirement upfront, my discharge has been continuously delayed. Compounding this nightmare, our total hospital bills have now ballooned to over half a million pesos, and the daily costs keep climbing the longer I stay.

To make matters even more heartbreaking, my mother was recently admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke. She is currently fighting for her recovery and requires hemodialysis three times a week. Managing two simultaneous medical emergencies has completely drained our family’s resources. I am currently unable to work, and my mother’s ongoing treatments require funds we simply do not have.

Right now, we are trapped under the weight of mounting medical debt, unable to move forward, heal properly, or restart our lives.
