A Little Help Can Keep My College Dream Alive

Hello, kind strangers.

I'm reaching out with a humble heart to ask for a little help in continuing my college education and getting through a difficult financial situation.

I'm currently a first-year college student pursuing my dream course. This is actually my second time attending college. I had to stop studying for three years because of financial difficulties, and coming back to school was something I worked hard and hoped for.

I chose my current school because it offers the course I've always dreamed of at a more affordable tuition rate. I planned to apply for a scholarship to help support my education, but because I was juggling school, work, and family responsibilities, I struggled academically in two subjects and wasn't able to qualify for the scholarship I had hoped to receive.

Until recently, I had a part-time job with a monthly salary of around ₱5,000. I used that income to support my daily necessities while also helping my siblings with their studies. I have siblings who are also in college, as well as one who is still in high school.

Unfortunately, I recently lost my part-time job. Some of the money I had carefully set aside for my tuition had to be used for our daily necessities. I didn't want to do that, but sometimes we have to prioritize what we need to get through each day.

My father works as a construction worker, and although he does his best for our family, supporting three college students and one high school student is not easy. We also have outstanding rent of approximately ₱8,000. Our monthly rent is ₱6,000, which I have been paying little by little whenever I can.

Right now, my most urgent concern is my tuition. I need to settle my school balance between November 6 and November 9, 2026, because my final examinations are scheduled for November 10, 2026. I'm afraid that I might not be able to continue with my examinations and studies if I cannot meet the payment requirements.

I'm not asking for a luxurious life or anything beyond what I need. I'm simply hoping to get another chance to continue the education I had to leave behind years ago.

If you are able to help, even a small donation would mean so much to me. If financial assistance isn't possible, sharing my story with someone who might be willing to help would also be greatly appreciated.

I understand that everyone has their own responsibilities and struggles. I don't expect anyone to feel obligated to help me. I'm simply taking a chance and reaching out because I still want to finish my education and build a better future for myself and my family.
