Our beloved Mama has always been the heart of our family—the one who kept us together and stayed strong for all of us. But for the last 3 years, she has been fighting a silent and exhausting battle against Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

To keep her with us, she has been undergoing hemodialysis 3 times every single week. For 156 weeks, we have fought alongside her, traveling back and forth to the hospital, watching her endure the needles and the fatigue. We have exhausted all our savings, and reached out to every possible resource just to sustain her treatments.

Just recently, our situation turned from difficult to critical. Mama was rushed to the hospital after nagsuka po siya ng dugo (vomiting blood). It was a terrifying moment for our family to see her so weak. She is currently confined at MetroHealth in Sorsogon City, and the doctors are working hard to stabilize her and address the complications of her end-stage kidney failure.

The costs of emergency confinement, new medications, blood tests, and her ongoing 3x-a-week dialysis have become a mountain we can no longer climb alone. We want to give her every chance to recover and come home, but the hospital bills are growing every day.
