Help Our Dad Gil Get the Heart Surgery He Needs

My name is Angelie, and I am reaching out to ask for help for my father, Gil Camungao, who is currently hospitalized and facing a serious heart condition.

My father recently underwent a coronary angiogram after experiencing serious cardiac and respiratory complications. The results showed extensive and severe blockages in the arteries supplying blood to his heart.

His angiogram showed:

60–70% narrowing of the Left Main Coronary Artery

80–90% narrowing of the Left Anterior Descending (LAD) artery

A 100% total blockage in the LAD

80–90% narrowing of the Right Coronary Artery

Additional areas of approximately 70% narrowing

Significant calcification of his coronary arteries

Because of the severity and location of these blockages, his doctors have recommended Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) — an open-heart bypass surgery.

🏥 The Cost of His Surgery

The estimated cost of the CABG procedure alone is approximately ₱1,500,000.

This amount does not include the other expenses that will come with his treatment, including hospitalization, ICU care, doctors' professional fees, medications, laboratory tests, medical supplies, recovery, and other procedures that may be required.

His medical team has also indicated that an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) may be needed, depending on his condition and the doctors' assessment.

Because of this, our family's total medical expenses will be significantly more than the ₱1.5 million surgery cost.

💔 Why We Are Asking for Help

₱1.5 million is an amount our family simply cannot raise on our own in such a short period of time.

We are doing everything we can, but we are now reaching out to our friends, relatives, and kind-hearted people who may be willing to help our father receive the treatment he needs.

Any amount will make a difference.

Whether it is ₱100, ₱500, ₱1,000, or more, every contribution brings us one step closer to being able to pay for his surgery and continued medical care.
