Little Steps for Kenzy's Recovery
Kenzy is currently fighting for her life after developing a severe infection caused by rat bites, which led to the amputation of her toes last May 27, 2026. She spent 3 days in the ICU and is still under close observation as doctors continue to monitor her condition.
Kenzy wanted to save her leg as much as possible. She initially insisted on toe amputation only, hoping her leg could still be salvaged. However, despite the first operation, the infection continued to worsen and spread. She is now left with no other choice but to undergo a second operation for amputation below the knee in order to save her life.
Her condition has become more critical because of her underlying illnesses — Type 1.5 diabetes and anemia — which make recovery much more difficult and allow the infection to progress faster. Her condition has also worsened as she is still having a hard time breathing. Doctors found water in her lungs, and she is currently battling pneumonia on top of the severe infection.
Kenzy’s warm presence and positivity have always been shared with everyone around her. Now, we are humbly asking for your help to extend the same kindness, positivity, and assistance to Kenzy and her family during these very difficult times.
We are asking for your help and prayers for Kenzy. The second surgery cannot proceed without the required partial payment of ₱150,000, and we are urgently trying to raise the amount as soon as possible. Any amount, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping cover her hospital bills, surgery, medications, and continuous treatment.
Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support for Kenzy and our family during this heartbreaking time. May the Lord bless us all. 🙏
